Introduction to NITTP

The New Industrialization and Technology Training Program (NITTP, formerly known as the RTTP Program) subsidizes each company with HKD$500,000 per year to apply for training related to “new industrialization”!

Maximum funding amount: A maximum of HKD$500,000 per enterprise per financial year.

Funding model: Reimbursement of funds (enterprises can choose to pre-disburse 50% of the approved training subsidy amount)

Two types of training courses are supported:

  • Public courses – courses that accept applications from the public. Applications for course registration are submitted by training institutions.
  • Specially designed courses – i.e. courses designed for a specific company, the course proposal should be submitted by the applicant company as part of the training grant application.

The plan is to subsidize local enterprise personnel to receive high-end technology training on a 2:1 matching basis, especially training related to “new industrialization”, including the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and automation.
